The collagraph is a fun and inexpensive method of relief printmaking where students build their own printing plate from found objects (metal washers, string, can tabs, etc) or recycled materials ( cardboard, screen mesh, sandpaper, etc). Session one will consist of designing and building the printing plate- while session two will focus on printing the plate. Students are encouraged to bring any flat/thin found objects or materials they have available to share. Register by 7/6.
