Sibshops are best described as opportunities for brothers and sisters of children with special health and developmental needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context. During this workshop participants will learn the logistics of planning and implementing local Sibshop programs for school age children. Training will also feature a live Sibshops demonstration workshop led by Emily Holl and local siblings. This workshop is intended for family members, teachers, psychologists, social workers, service providers, and anyone who wants to learn how to run a local Sibshop. Lunch will be included.
