26100.222    Fungal Forest: Youth Mushroom Workshop     May-Aug - 2021

Discover mycological education with an outdoor class on fungi and a scavenger hunt designed to encourage youth to observe and interact with the different types of fungi. Participants will learn the differences between fungi and plants, the multiple ways fungi grow, different types of fungi, and ultimately why fungi are important to the forest ecosystem. Register by 8/4.

Safety is the top priority at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation as we continue to serve our community members with quality programs. We have implemented the following safety protocols for all of our in-person recreation programs: Assumption of Risk forms, daily health screening questionnaire, social distanced classroom set-up, face mask requirements, hand sanitation stations on site, and regular cleaning of the facilities.
