Description:
Fall Co-ed Church Softball League. Games will be played on Monday nights at Peaks View Park. We will play 10 regular season games with an additional week of playoffs.
This is a league with a few different rules from our Spring/Summer Co-ed Softball.
- To keep costs down, we will not assign umpires to these games.
- To avoid having to call balls and strikes, teams will have their own pitchers pitching to their own batters. Batters will only get 5 pitches to hit a fair ball by the 5th pitch.. There will be no walks. If the batter fouls or does not swing at the 5th pitch, it will be considered an out. Also, if a batter swings and misses on a 3rd pitch during the 5 pitches, it will be considered a strikeout.
- Teams will have team breakdown of 7 males and 3 females. Teams may play / bat as many females they wish in those 10 players.
- Team defenses should have at least 1 female in the infield, 1 female outfielder and 3rd female can catch or play in the field.
- Teams may bat 12 batters as long as it is alternating between males and females for the first 6 batters.
